About Us

MIKE HAGANS has 30 years of roofing experience.

Mike’s roofing career began back in 1981. If it helps, he started when MTV was launched, Indiana Jones’ Raiders of the Lost Ark was released in theaters and Dolly Parton’s “9 to 5″ hit the airways. In 1989 he earned his license and founded Hagans Roofing.
It was career move that “allowed [him] great freedoms: work outside, meet new people and provide for [his] family.”

As time would allow, he would meet with a small group of contractors most mornings to discuss new products, updates to the buidling code and roofing methods. He continues to participate in product workshops and attend training seminars for proper product application and installation.

In addition to roofing, Mike has been involved in the community of Roseville since graduating from Oakmont HS in 1971. He has been an active sponsor for local, youth activities and community programs. Over the years, Hagans Roofing has supported the following organizations:

  • Roseville Sugar Bears Swim Team
  • Granite Bay HS Water Polo and Swimming
  • Granite Bay Gators Youth Swim Team
  • Roseville HS Athletic Boosters
  • Roseville Chamber of Commerce
  • Countless Girl Scout Cookies, Boy Scout Popcorn and Lemonade Stands

As a family-owned and operated business, we thank you for your consideration!

Roof Tips

  • Inspect Twice a Year >

A frequent inspection is the most important preventative maintenance measure you can take to ensure your roof lasts for a long time. You should check your roof a minimum of twice a year, in early spring and late fall.

  • Stay Off the Roof >

Walking on the roof can reduce it's lifespan. If you must walk on the roof, take extreme care, wear rubber soled shoes and make sure the roof is dry.

  • Keep it Clean >

Keep your roof and gutters clear of leaves, twigs and other debris.  Debris impairs the natural drainage of water and trapped water will rot a roof faster than anything else.

  • Algae, Moss & Mildew >

In addition to looking bad, algae, moss and mildew can trap moisture and shorten the life of your roof. Soaking the affected area with a diluted chlorine bleach solution, then pressure washing can be effective in removing these damaging growths.
